Hartsholme Country Park

Hartsholme Country Park is a Green Flag Award winning park situated in the south-west of Lincoln, approximately 3 miles from the city centre.

Hartsholme Country Park consists of a children’s play area, a café, a Visitor Centre, camping facilities, Victorian landscaped gardens, and access to parts of Swanholme Lakes Local Nature Reserve. The park also run an orienteering course, guided walks and nature trails.

Hartsholme is open all year round and is dog friendly.

Camping facilities are available from March to October in an English Tourism Council 3 star rated Touring Park.

Swanholme Lakes Local Nature Reserve can be accessed through Hartsholme Country Park. When quarrying finished in the 1960’s the area became host to a variety of different habitat types that are important both nationally and locally in terms of biodiversity.

Please keep dogs on a lead and under full control at all times whilst in Swanholme Lakes Local Nature Reserve.

Skellingthorpe Road

The main entrance to Hartsholme Country Park is on the B1378 (Skellingthorpe Road). It is signposted from the A46 (Lincoln Bypass) and from the B1003 (Tritton Road).

A regular bus service (numbers 29, SB2, SB6 and 66a) runs from the City Centre. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres from the main entrance.
